About this herb
Frankincense Resin.
Food Grade Sacred Resin with Ancient Roots
Frankincense Tears are the dried gum resin harvested from the tropical Boswellia tree, a small, thorny tree native to regions of Arabia, India, and Northern Africa. Our resin is traditionally obtained by carefully making small incisions in the tree’s bark, allowing the milky sap to slowly flow and harden into fragrant droplets known as “tears.” These tears are then hand-harvested once fully dried.
The Boswellia tree requires 8–10 years of maturity before resin can be sustainably harvested, making this botanical both precious and deeply rooted in tradition.
Aroma & Experience
When gently heated, Frankincense releases a rich, resinous fragrance that is warm, grounding, and spiritually uplifting. Its scent has been cherished for thousands of years in temples, sacred ceremonies, and meditation spaces.
