Safflower is an ancient flowering plant in the aster family, with cultivation dating back to Pharaonic Egypt. Resembling thistle, its bright blooms are prized not only for their natural beauty and color but also for their versatile uses in herbalism, culinary traditions, dyeing, and body care. These dried safflower petals are gently cut and sifted—ready for infusion, blending, or crafting.
🍵 Herbal & Tea Blends Add a pinch of safflower petals to herbal teas for a warm hue and floral essence. Pairs well with hibiscus, chamomile, rose, and citrus peels.
